Matt thanks George Washington and tells him that he’s very smart, especially for a “cameleopard,” though I can’t tell if Matt called him a cameleopard or a Kamala-leopard. George apparently tells him that the intruder will come to the ball in a costume. Matt visits George Washington the giraffe to tell George about his premonition and asks for his advice. The montage ends with a reveal of the design Jeff Hardy carved into the lawn which is a very stylized declaration of “Happy Halloween.” Being able to carve elaborate designs into a lawn with a weedwhacker is a very specialized skill for a person to have either in real life or kayfabe. Queen Rebecca and King Maxel decorate the Dome of Deletion with Halloween decorations. Jeff Hardy uses a weedwhacker to carve designs in the lawn which I thought that was Senor Benjamin’s responsibility. Vanguard-1 is more skilled at pumpkin carving than Senor Benjamin. Senor Benjamin and Vanguard-1 carve pumpkins. We get a montage of the Hardys preparing for the ball. Matt then says that he will take care of the guest list. Vanguard-1 will be in charge of surveillance, Senor Benjamin will handle the landscaping and Queen Rebecca will handle the decor in the Dome of Deletion. Brother Nero will be responsible for the entertainment.
He says that they must prepare for the festivities and gives everyone a task. A dark cloud looms over them all but Matt will not let it ruin their celebration. Matt says that an evil force is plotting to send an invader to the compound. He summons his scribe from the ether to record his premonition. Matt praises Rebecca’s skills with on the “88 keys of ivory,” before being stricken by a premonition.
Senor Benjamin (sporting a jack o’lantern t-shirt) and Jeff Hardy (with Brother Nero eyes) are also hanging about. Queen Rebecca plays the piano while Matt sways. A second hooded figure appears and the first tells him to infiltrate the ball in order to DELETE Matt and Jeff Hardy. Hardy says that this calls for a celebration and decides to hold the first ever House Hardy Halloween Ball.Ī hooded figure watches this unfold. He emerges from the maze and Matt Hardy praises him for completing the maze which apparently is part of his Broken Brilliance training. King Maxel runs through a corn maze as Matt Hardy and Reby Sky cheer him on. My wish has finally become a reality with the House Hardy Halloween. When all the legal rigmarole regarding the Broken Universe was finally settled and Matt Hardy brought the character to the WWE I thought his crazy little corner of the wrestling world was the perfect sort of thing for the WWE Network and longed for a Broken/Woken Universe series.
